To do with my partner's family?
I have never had this issue but I'll try anyways. Try seeing it from her point of view, did she hang out a lot with her brother then maybe she feels like your taking over. You could try approach her, but if that's not a good idea then ask your partner. Try to figure out the problem even if it involves talking to *her*
Are these computer parts compatible? Revised?
I suggest you sell that PSU even before you use it for maybe $30. Brand spanking new. Buy this a href="http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817171031&cm_re=500_watt_PSU-_-17-171-031-_-Product" rel="nofollow"http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as…/a . $37 after shipping and the MIR. Some may whine about the sleeve bearing but for 2 years of daily use on a starter build it is gonna be perfect. Register within 30 days so you're covered if it ever does go kaput. It's gonna have to be upgraded when you buy your new graphic card. Most lower end cards that need that 6 pin connector will ask for a minimum of 450 watts or more. Just a heads up for the future. As it stands everything looks good. Make sure you register EVERYTHING to be able to take advantage of all the warranties if it should ever come to that. No worries with the sound card though. It will fit fine. That does bring up a possible issue. How much extra power does that card need. Will it exceed the 430? Interesting answer. I went to thermaltake. Why Thermaltake? They make Power Supply Units and it a pretty nice one. It can even see a bit into the future and take capacitor aging. It can also take a full load into consideration. Well ummm. The tally on what you have now including the DVD burner and the Sound card is 334W. A ways into the future when you get a SSD, just for your operating system and a couple select programs that can benefit from an SSD's blazing speed, & buy a graphic card and buy an extra DVD drive so you can back up DVD's that number of course is only gonna go up. Total after the addition of that hardware? 560W. I have to say something about your RAM. Please get Kingston or Corsair. I mean to each their own but I've heard too much about Patriot to even consider them for my build. Crysis up there even had a hand in my build. A couple months back I was asking the same questions you are. He answered at least two of my MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY questions here on YA. a href="http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=11354589" rel="nofollow"http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/Public…/a + a href="http://www.amazon.com/Ultra-1200W-Atx-Black-Active/dp/B002STX6AW/ref=sr_1_3?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1306981816&sr=1-3" rel="nofollow"http://www.amazon.com/Ultra-1200W-Atx-Bl…/a is the result.
Computer upgrading question?
I have an MSI A6000 that I bought about a year and a half ago. It still runs well although the hard drive is getting full and I recently came across a few large programs I'd like to be able to run, namely some Autodesk software. I have the boot discs for the computer. So would it be a good idea to buy a new, bigger hard drive and reinstall everything? Will it get my computer back up to new condition? Or should I just leave it alone since it doesn't run poorly to begin with and make room on the hard drive? Thanks for your answers.
What do you think Parts of Mexican Border “Too Dangerous” To Patrol?
I live in Texas and it is very real. Just your last sentence alone says it all. Not enough funding and it is dangerous.
Which of these online teen magazines names for good?
Hey, Yeah! is the best one in my opinion. The other ones don't make a lot of sense. If you dont wanna use that one, make it a sarcastic or cheeky or funny title.
How can I properly test for signal noise?
When I'm testing audio equipment (in this case namely cables and input/output methods), how can I accurately test how much noise there is in the signal/line? (I use the two terms here more or less interchangeably) I can watch a movie and get a sense, but if I hear noise I have a hard time telling if that's from the signal or if it's originating from the media itself, in which case it's inevitable. Same goes for testing with music. Please advise.
Why is hypomania so bad?
Hi. I am 23 years old and was recently diagnosed with Bipolar II Disorder. My psychiatrist wants to put me on medication namely a mood stabiliser but to be honest i don't feel i need it. I enjoy my hypomanic periods especially compared to the debilitating depressions. I feel ontop of the world and so great and happy and energised.I am extremely productive and creative in this state and i can take on multiple projects at once.My mind floods will all sorts of brilliant ideas. I feel like i am some sort of genius.I have painted many great artworks whilst in hypomania.I just don't see it as a bad thing. Why then does the Dr want me to take medication for it?Why is hypomania so bad? Thanks
