Atheist explain Saint Joan of Arc?

Some women are well known for having good intuition. Mix that with an extreme belief to the point of hysteria and schizophrenia and the prowess of a woman wanting to succeed in a man's world, and you have the basis of her story. Throw in some religion and events that were influenced by those adherent to that religion and perhaps even distorted a bit by those recording the history of the events which supposedly took place and you have an explanation of Joan of Arc.
