Denial, is it religiously lazy as reverse psychology, or an ability to not worry about fear?

I don't think it's either. It's the inability to face the truth, even when you know it's the truth. Religious laziness, no. They just believe. The don't really "know". And when you're in denial, oh, you worry about fear alright. Any one truly "denying" has fear.
