What is luck and how does it relate in society?

Luck is a matter of chance, chance is most basically and fundamentally the possibility of something happening. If I have a penny in my fist and tell you to choose if it is in the right or left hand you have a 50% chance of being right. So luck is chance, and good luck is when something good happens to you in your opinion or beliefs and bad luck is when bad things happen in your opinions or beliefs. People say they have good luck, but it is only because chances were tipped in their favor. If you have two unchangeable actions luck plays in very little or very much depending on the situation. But if the two options are set and have pre-assigned actions/reactions luck has almost nothing to do with it, main factor is your own choice.
